How can I stick stickers? Stickers are a great way to decorate your car, window or sign or to spread a message. One way to apply stickers is dry application. This method is especially suitable for lettering and designs cut from a film. Here are a few steps that can help you to perfectly stick your stickers:
-
Preparation: Have the necessary accessories ready. You will need a plastic squeegee, a sharp knife or scissors, a folding rule, peelable tape and possibly a hair dryer for uneven surfaces.
-
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the area where you want to apply the sticker to remove grease and dirt.
-
Layout: Place the sticker on the surface where you want to apply it, making sure it is aligned straight. Use the peelable tape to temporarily hold the sticker in place.
-
Sticking: Remove the protective film from the back of the sticker and stick it to the desired location. Use the plastic squeegee to tighten the sticker and squeeze out any air bubbles.
-
Finishing: Remove the peelable tape and check that the sticker adheres properly and is aligned straight.
Note that it is important to apply stickers at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C, avoid direct sunlight and strong wind, and do not apply in dusty environments.
