SDV Chemie BREMSSATTELLACK offers excellent adhesion to many surfaces and is suitable for both new and old paint jobs. It protects against rust and is scratch and abrasion resistant. In addition, it is heat resistant up to 300°C and thus optimally suited for brake calipers.

Processing:

• The substrate must be dry, free of oil, grease, clean, free of rust and loose adhesions.
• Treat heavily corroded metal substrates with SDV Chemie ROSTUMWANDLER before painting.
• Bring the can to room temperature (16 - 20°C) and shake vigorously (after the mixing balls rattle audibly for approx. 2 minutes) - test spray and check for compatibility with the substrate.
• Spray on from 20 - 25 cm in a crosswise direction in two to three thin, intermediately dried coats.
• The varnish is fast-drying: surface dry after approx. 8 min., touch-safe after 20 to 30 min., after approx. 24 hrs. the varnish is fully cured. Best processing at approx. 20°C.
• Ensure that the coating is opaque. If necessary, repeat the coating process.
• Allow a drying time of 20 to 30 minutes before applying the second coat.
